At Angler Blank Store, we take pride in the quality of our MHX blanks, AFTCO guides, components, and kits. We stand behind every item that leaves our Pascagoula facility, just as you stand behind the rods you build. However, we understand that sometimes a part isn’t quite right for your project. Our Returns & Exchanges policy is designed to be as straightforward and reliable as our products, ensuring you can shop with confidence.
Our Policy At a Glance
- Return Window: 15 days from the date you receive your order.
- Condition: Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.
- Process: Contact us first for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- Refunds: Issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of receiving your return.
- Exchanges: We gladly exchange items for a different size or model, subject to availability.
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the error is ours.
The Detailed Process: Step-by-Step
Step 1: Initiate Your Request (Within 15 Days)
Email our dedicated support team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Please include:
- Your order number.
- The product name and SKU (from your order confirmation).
- The reason for the return or exchange.
- Whether you desire a refund or an exchange.
- For Refunds: Upon approval, your refund will be processed.
- For Exchanges: We will ship the replacement item to you via our standard shipping method. If the requested item is out of stock, we will issue a refund or discuss an alternative.
- Custom Cut Blanks: Any rod blank (MHX, Black Hole, CRB) that has been cut or trimmed to custom specifications.
- Opened Finishing Supplies: Used epoxy, thread, or colorants from the Finishing or Decorative categories.
- Fly Tying Kits & Materials: Opened packages of feathers, thread, or hooks from Fly Tying Kits due to hygiene and inventory control.
- Personalized or Assembled Components: Any item from Grip & Handle Kits, Guide Kits, or Components that has been assembled, glued, or otherwise altered from its original state.
Step 2: Receive Your RMA Number & Instructions
We will review your request and, if approved, email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed return instructions. Returns sent without an RMA number cannot be processed.
Step 3: Pack & Ship Your Return
Securely pack the item(s) in their original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and tags. Enclose a copy of your order confirmation or a note with the RMA number clearly written on it. Ship the package to our address:

Step 4: Our Inspection & Your Resolution
Once received, our team will inspect the item(s) within 3-5 business days.
Refund Timeline & Method
Refunds are processed back to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal) within 5-10 business days after we receive and approve your return. The timing for the credit to appear on your statement depends on your bank or PayPal’s policies. You will receive an email notification once the refund has been issued.
Important Exceptions: Non-Returnable Items
To ensure the safety and quality of specialized products, the following items from our menu are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive defective or damaged:
